MINISTRY WITHIN OUR CHURCH

Do you have a women’s ministry?

Currently, we do have a women’s ministry, but it is undergoing a transition as they seek to learn more about ministering to today’s generation of women. We are actively seeking the Spirit’s wisdom on how to move into this new season of ministry.

Do you have a men’s ministry?

Currently, we do not have an official, functioning men’s ministry. It is one of the many things we are developing and hoping to bring to life in this new season of ministry.

Do you have a children’s ministry?

We do have an active and healthy children’s ministry, but it is currently limited to Sunday mornings. We are in the process of revamping the curriculum for each of our three age brackets: Birth up to age two, two up to kindergarten, kindergarten thru third grade. We would love to be able to offer our children more and are praying the Lord will send more young families to our church so that we can move forward in this ministry area.

Do you have a Audio, Visual, and Tech ministry?

We do have and use audio/visual elements in our church ministries, but it would be an overstatement to say we have a ministry in this area. We are, however, actively look for people to serve in this area, and with the right people in place, who knows how God might use it in the days ahead?!

Do you have a worship ministry?

Worship at FHPC is knit together each week with the offerings of a dedicated choir (who sing special pieces at least once a month and serve as a worship choir every week), a wonderful piano and organ player, a handful of people who serve in rotation as worship leaders, and a media tool accessed through worshiplyricvideos . We have an actively open job description to hire a part time Worship Ministry Director. The job description can be found HERE

Any other options I should know about?

While we do not “officially” support these two groups, we do host and offer a space on a regular basis to both a local girl scout troop and a ministry called Pennies for Angels. We are always looking for ways to offer support for groups in our community so long as they don’t conflict with the mission of FHPC.
